Hey Bootcampers!
Here’s a quick recap of today’s 5:30am “Boot Camp Barbell Club”
The focus for all participants was to find a 1 rep max back squat and a 1 rep max strict shoulder press. The purpose is to find your current level of strength and to use the information to properly build up to a higher level of strength, in a system that is productive and sustainable. I’m extremely proud of everyone and there effort this morning. The motto of the “BCBC” is:

I’d like to point out that Cathy is definitely a fighter and she gave the boys (Chi and Jacob) a run for their money during today’s back squat and shoulder press session. I know she was a little disappointed with her last lift BUT when you try to lift more than the men lol…chances are, it’s going to be hard.

I’d like to give a special praise to Ms. Rogers for all that she’s doing to become stronger and live a consistent, healthy, lifestyle. I have a feeling the men in class were trying to impress her with their big lifts lol. Seems like this group is about to take on the world of fitness and never look back.
I’m glad I can be apart of it. Let’s do it again Thursday.
