Boot Camp November 4, 2015 (Wednesday)

Ever feel stuck? Like life/traffic just won’t budge. Ever wonder why life’s traffic blocks always seem out of your control but yet, the results directly affect you in the most negative way?

How many of you just sit there and hope “someone else” will open up the lanes of destiny/positivity? How many of you see the negativity coming your way but still decide to flirt with it or are too prideful to just step to the side and let it pass?

There are things in your path that are completely controlled by you in an indirect way. You don’t see the correlation between the two because your focus isn’t where it needs to be. For all of you that are in a bad headspace, health/finance/faith/love/loneliness, take a long hard look at you first. Figure out what your heart needs and wants and then find a way to clear up the traffic blocks in your mind.

***Recipe***
Classic Meatloaf
Total Time: 1 hr. 15 min.
Prep Time: 15 min.
Cooking Time: 1 hr.
Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients:
1½ lbs. raw 95% lean ground beef (or turkey)
1 large egg
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
¾ medium green bell pepper, chopped
1 medium celery stalk, chopped
½ cup all-natural tomato sauce
1 cup whole-grain or panko bread crumbs
1 tsp. Dijon mustard
1 Tbsp. dried parsley
Sea salt and ground black pepper (to taste; optional)

Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
2. Combine beef, egg, garlic, onion, bell pepper, celery, tomato sauce, bread crumbs, mustard, and parsley in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper if desired; mix well with clean hands.
3. Place mixture in loaf pan. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until cooked through.

***Workout***
EMOM – 10 Minutes
Each minute complete 5 strict push ups and 5 sit ups

2.5 Minutes – Bear Crawls
2.5 Minutes – Crab Walks
2.5 Minutes- Broad Jumps

Teams of 3 – 20 Minutes
Partner 1 complete 10 calorie row and 10 burpees of the rower

Partner 2 jumps rope

Partner 3 waits for the rotation to come to them.

*The rowing/burpee partner must sprint through each movement
