Background: This tribute workout is dedicated to the victims and survivors of the 9/11 attack at World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
9/11 was a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks by the Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda against the United States. The attacks resulted in 2,977 fatalities, over 25,000 injuries, and substantial long-term health consequences, in addition to at least $10 billion in infrastructure and property damage.
The 2001 meter row represents the year of the attacks. The 9 and 11 reps represent the date. The 4 rounds signify the 4 planes that crashed. Finally, the 2,977 meter Row represents the lives lost during the incident.

*1 Bear Complex consists of: 1 Power Clean, 1 Front Squat, 1 Push Press, 1 Back Squat, and 1 Push Press
With a running clock, as fast as possible perform the prescribed work. Athletes must complete the buy-in of 2,001 meter Row before moving on to 4 rounds of 9 Rope Climbs and 11 Bear Complexes. To complete the workout, perform the cash-out of 2,977 meter Row. Switch as necessary, no minimum work required.
Score is the time on the clock when the cash-out is completed.
